What first got you hooked on your sport?

I have always been addicted to competition. That was the beginning phase of the addiction. What built on the addiction were the relationships and bonds formed throughout the shared trauma of sport. All of my best and closest friends come from sport.

Do you have any rituals, habits, or superstitions before training or competing?

Not really, I feel I know my body decently now so I do the same exact warmup routine each and every time, to get my body and mind to a place where I am ready to compete.

What would your teammates/friends say you’re known for outside of your sport?

Being a family man, loving to connect and check in on others, and loving a good game/trivia night.

What’s been your most memorable (or unusual) moment in a competition?

A decent few here, but probably the game winning kick against the Giants in 2022.

(Ed. note: This is pretty spectacular stuff, you can watch it here.)

Have you got any nightmare cramp stories? And how did you deal with the cramp?

I am very grateful that a kicker does not have to run much. Part of the reason I switched over from soccer before college.

What big goal are you working towards next?

Launching a company and building a team or world class individuals!
